Halifax Busker Festival Dairy Farmers of Canada People’s Choice Award Contest
1. Contest Period
The Halifax Busker Festival Dairy Farmers of Canada People’s Choice Award Contest (the "Contest") begins on July 29, 2026 at 5:00pm ADT and closes on August 3, 2026 at 7:00am ADT (the "Contest Period").
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to residents of Nova Scotia who are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Employees, volunteers, board members, contractors, sponsors, and immediate family members of Halifax Busker Festival and Dairy Farmers of Canada are not eligible to win.
3. How to Enter
To enter, participants must submit an eligible vote for their favourite busker using the official voting form during the Contest Period.
4. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a Dairy Farmers of Canada Prize Pack. The prize has no retail value. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Contest organizer reserves the right to substitute a prize if necessary.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will take place on or about August 4, 2026. The busker selected by the voter has no impact on the odds of winning. The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address provided at the time of entry. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) business days, declines the prize, or is found to be ineligible, another eligible entrant may be selected.
6. Privacy
Personal information collected for the Contest will be used solely for administering the Contest, contacting the winner, and any purposes consented to by the participant. Personal information will not be sold or shared except as required by law.
7. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow the Contest organizer to use their name and city of residence for promotional purposes related to the Contest without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Contest organizer is not responsible for technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries, internet interruptions, or any other issues beyond its reasonable control that may affect participation. The Contest organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control interfere with the fair administration of the Contest.
9. Acceptance of Rules
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest organizer, which are final in all matters relating to the Contest.
