- Receive an awesome Halifax Busker Festival volunteer t-shirt and snacks/drinks during your shift.
Volunteers are required to:
- Attend an orientation and training session prior to the Festival.
- Be 17 years of age or older. (Drivers must be 25 years of age or older.)
- Complete a minimum of 2 shifts during the Festival.
- Be comfortable providing customer service and interacting with the public.
- Be comfortable with actively working outside in the elements for the majority of your shift.
Volunteers are needed for the following roles:
- Runner: assists with a variety of jobs from filling in for stage manager breaks, running water to performers, and helping staff with site maintenance.
- Stage Manager: oversees activities at a designated stage and communicate with staff/performers and audience to ensure performances run smoothly.
- Transport Drivers: must be 25+ with a clean driving record and familiarity with Halifax/Dartmouth.
